"He is With You"

This morning, I woke up with the words “Forget the Former” running through my mind. They were so clear, I knew I needed to pause and listen. As I reflected, God brought me to Isaiah 43, a reminder that His presence isn’t just for our past—it’s for our now and our future. We all have moments, mistakes, or seasons we wish we could rewrite. But God invites us to stop looking back and start looking ahead, trusting that He is right here with us. No matter what’s behind you—good or bad—His promise is to walk with you into the new things He’s preparing. This is a reminder that you are not alone. God’s presence covers your yesterday, strengthens your today, and goes before you into tomorrow.

Man, listen… I know it feels heavy right now.
Like every step you take, something else tries to knock you back down. You’re tired — not just in your body, but deep in your soul. And maybe you’ve been wondering if God even sees you in all this.

I want you to know — He does.
You’ve been on His mind the whole time.

I’m not talking about a far-off God who’s too busy to notice you. I’m talking about a Father who calls you by name. One who looks you in the eye and says, “You are Mine. You are precious to Me. I love you.”

I’ve been through deep waters myself. I’ve been in fires that should’ve burned me to ashes. But somehow… here I am. And it’s not because I’m strong — it’s because He never left.

See, when you belong to Him, the storm doesn’t get the last word. The fire doesn’t decide your future. God does. And He’s not just keeping you alive — He’s taking you somewhere.

There’s something about His love that doesn’t just rescue you — it restores you. He doesn’t stand on the shore yelling for you to swim harder. No… He jumps in with you. He holds you steady until your feet hit solid ground again.

And I believe this — right now, He’s doing something new in you. You might not see it yet, but He’s making a way in the wilderness. He’s creating streams in places you thought were dried up for good. And when it’s all said and done, people are going to look at your life and know that it was God who brought you through.

Now, I know your past tries to follow you. Those mistakes, those regrets — they’ll whisper that you’re not worthy, that you’re disqualified. But let me tell you what I’ve learned: God doesn’t just forgive, He forgets. He wipes the slate clean and calls you free.

And hear me — He’s not going to forsake you. I’ve never seen Him abandon the people who put their trust in Him. Never.

So even if you feel like you’re barely hanging on, you are not alone.
You’re not going under.
You’re not going to be destroyed by this.

I’m telling you as someone who’s been in the storm — God is with you. And He’s not letting go.

A Prayer for You

Father,
Right now, I lift up my brother, my sister, the one reading this. You know their heart. You see the weight they’ve been carrying, the tears they’ve cried in silence, the battles they’ve been fighting that nobody else even knows about. And You haven’t turned away.

I thank You that You are the God who steps into the fire with us, who walks through the deep waters beside us, who holds us when we can’t stand on our own. You are faithful, even when we feel like we’re falling apart.

Lord, I ask that right now You wrap them in Your peace — the kind of peace that doesn’t even make sense to the human mind, but settles deep in the soul. Remind them that they are loved, chosen, and never forsaken. Speak to them in ways they can’t miss.

Give them strength for today and hope for tomorrow.
Heal what’s been broken, restore what’s been lost, and breathe fresh life into dry places.
And let them walk away from this moment knowing without a doubt — they are not alone, they are not forgotten, and they are not beyond Your reach.

In Jesus’ name, amen.
